
About Nadia
Nadia Charlery, is a French Director from Martinique. After graduating from at ESRA (college of Media & Cinéma) in PARIS, she decided to return in its country of origin to live and express her passion of image there.
After working several years as an assistant director, producer, and casting director for advertising, feature films, and tv programs with various productions companies, she started to work in film.
Her first short film as director, “Le pense bête,” received an award in an Ecological festival.
Her second short film, “In Between,” produced by Chronoprod, received the first prize – Prix de court –at the Antilles, Guiana 2013 Festival, and the “special price of the Jury, ” at the FEMI Festival. Her third short film, ” 35minutes before 40,” was nominated for the 2015 festival Prix de court.
Also interested in script writing, the screenplay for “Ti Coq” won a prize in HOHOHA script contest at Cannes.
